Gong and the Pro-fact consorcium invite you to the conference "Democracy Must Be Healthy", to be held on January 27th 2023 from 9:30 till 13:30 at the Croatian Journalist Home (Perkovčeva 2), in Zagreb.
The conference will focus on the impact of disinformation and technology on democracy and society. With the panel discussion "Healthy Democracy in a Healthy Society", we wish to emphasise the results of the Pro-fact project research for the social-political context, while the panel discussion "What Now?" focuses on the future - the role of artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and media in the upcoming electoral cycles.
The public event is being organised as part of the Pro-fact project, which deploys a multidisciplinary approach to understand, analyse and prevent disinformation narratives in the public space. The Pro-fact consorcium consists of: Gong, the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb, the University of Dubrovnik, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, and Faktograf.
